Вот как согласуется этот совет с заключением, например, фирмы производителя АстраЗенека , о том, что испытания по длительному(больше 1,5 месяцев) приему сероквеля они не производили и за последствия не ручаются?
"The effectiveness of seroquel in long-term use, that is, for for more than 6 weeks, has not been systematically evaluated in controlled trials.Therefore, the physician who elects to use seroquel for extended periods should periodically reevaluate the long term usefulness of the drug for the individual patient.(стр.9)"
"While there is no body of evidence available to answer the question of how long the patient treated with seroquel should be maintained. it is generally recommended that responding patients be continued beyond the acute response, but at the lowest dose needed to maintain remission.
Patients should be periodically reassessed to determine the need for maintenance treatment.(стр.42)"
Мало того, отмечается нежелательность привыкания:
"Seroquel has not been systematically studied, in animal or humans, for its potential for abuse, tolerance and physical dependence....Consequently, patients should be evaluated carefully for a history of drug abuse, and such patients should be observed closely for signs of misuse or abuse of seroquel, e.g. development of tolerance, increases in dose, drug-seeking behavior. (стр.39)"
Даже в фабричном руководстве по галоперидолу рекомендуется сеансовый прием, а не постоянный.
